Café Cook Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Café Cook to bring our café menu and experience to life in a vibrant café setting.

As Café Cook, you'll be the heart of the kitchen, responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals that will keep patrons coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire, prepare and lead delivery of daily menus.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, manage inventory; liaise with suppliers.
  • Coordinate seamless catering for on-site functions and events.
  • Culinary Creation: Prepare and cook diverse range of dishes, ensuring each plate meets high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen spotless and organized, maintaining equipment, appliances, and utensils in top condition.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage orders to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Team Leadership: Assist in supervising café staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including meal counts and equipment temperatures, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in hospitality industry, food preparation and menu delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene practices and kitchen safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with digital tools.
  • Ability to obtain a current police clearance.
