We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Western Melbourne.

About the Role

This locum position offers a chance to work with a variety of patients, including those with developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome. You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients' motor skills, as well as administering assessments such as the Alberta Infant Motor Scale (AIMS) and Hammersmith Infant Neurological Exam (HINE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients aged 0-2 years with developmental delay, cerebral palsy, or down syndrome
  • Administer assessments such as AIMS and HINE to evaluate patients' motor skills
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' motor function and overall health
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Manage patient referrals, including NDIS referrals as appropriate
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with paediatric patients, particularly those with developmental delay or neurological conditions
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
