At PACT Group, we're committed to leading the circular economy through sustainable packaging solutions. As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of asset care at our Seven Hills facility.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about making a difference. You'll work closely with the engineering and maintenance function to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant production capability.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Production and Quality teams to resolve issues and maintain plant production
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis on critical failures and implementing action items
  • Supporting the implementation of capital projects
  • Leading by example to foster a safety-first culture
  • Driving continuous improvement to ensure compliance with policy and guidelines

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A visible commitment to driving a Zero Harm culture
  • Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and an inquisitive mindset
  • Result-driven focus with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Some training in Lean manufacturing techniques and root cause analysis is desirable
  • Great communication skills and strong rapport-building techniques
  • A current and valid 'S' Permit (Restricted Electrical License) would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite/computer skills
