We are seeking a skilled Fitter Machinist to join our high-performing team at Questas Group. Due to consistent growth across our business, this role has become available in our Lambton facility.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders to meet high-quality standards.
  • Strip, measure, inspect, and report on all components to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clean and prepare components for re-manufacture.
  • Assemble and test hydraulic cylinders to ensure proper function.
  • Attend and participate in toolbox talks to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.

About You

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification (essential).
  • Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances (desirable).
  • Understanding of the re-manufacture process, including fitting, machining, and welding.
