Job Description

BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in Mackay, supporting the $250M expansion of the Mackay Base Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Tender subcontract packages, including compilation and approval of tender documents, and submission of tender recommendations.
  • Prepare contract documents for each trade package/subcontract.
  • Assist with administration of subcontract packages, including progress claims and variation claims.
  • Participate in monthly consolidated reporting, including cash flow forecasting and contractual matters.
  • Establish an effective system for project administration, in line with company procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the building construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to cope with shifting work priorities and deliver results.
