Job Description


As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting project governance and administration, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Preparation and maintenance of project governance and administration documentation.
  • Track project progress and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Develop a project programme, monitor progress, and communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, implement mitigations, review, and amend as required to ensure project targets are achieved.
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • T&T safety on projects checklist to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager and Project Director with tasks such as cost reporting, program, service provider performance monitoring, risk register updates, quality assurance, etc.
  • Assisting with contractual work including procurement and editing documents.
  • Liaison with client departments and other service providers to help co-ordinate all efforts in keeping the program on track.
  • Tender research, collating potential bid work.
  • Assistance with bids for future work in the region, including bid plans and liaison with the risk team.


Requirements:



  • A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Construction Management or Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Cost Management, or relatable trade experience.
  • 1 – 4 years project management experience (ideally client side/consulting).
  • Experience in health sector is an added advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
