Job Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team on a temporary full-time basis until further notice with the possibility of extension.

This role is available as a temporary full-time position, however a combined temporary part-time job-share arrangement would be considered for the successful applicant.

The ideal candidate will provide a high-quality specialist physiotherapy service to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced reasoning and practice skills.

  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision and support of Level 1 and 2 health professionals, technical and support staff, students and other staff as appropriate.
  • Service Planning: Participate and assist with the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting on clinical services.
  • Consultative Role: Provide a consultative role within their area of expertise. May conduct clinical research.
  • In-Service Education: Participate in the provision of clinical in-service education programmes to staff and students.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Specialist team across the region to ensure a safe and timely transfer of patients who have completed an acute episode of care and require ongoing care and management.
