About Our Opportunity
We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Chief Financial Operations Officer to join our team at Qualitas Securities Pty. In this role, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial management, including accounting, taxation, compliance, and regulatory functions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Manage the oversight of monthly bank reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Review weekly batch payments and staff reimbursements to ensure proper general ledger coding.
- Collaborate with the Fund Accounting team to compile and review the recoverable cost workbook from Funds.
- Develop and distribute monthly CFO reporting packs for the Executive Team and Board, featuring KPI analysis, budget variance, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- CA/CPA qualification with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, ideally in funds management, private equity, construction, or property development.
- Prior experience at a Big Four accounting firm, mid-tier accounting firm, or an ASX-listed company is desirable.
- Excellent technical accounting skills with a strong grasp of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Proven expertise in management accounting, statutory reporting, and general ledger management.
