Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team leader to lead our Structures and Stormwater Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance and repairs, and performing safety checks on worksites, plant, and stormwater management systems.

This is a full-time role that offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Supervising the daily activities of the Structures and Stormwater Team
  • Performing safety checks on worksites, plant, and stormwater management systems
  • Delivering consistent and decisive leadership to the team
  • Maintaining stormwater and concrete structures across the Council's road network
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and experience in supervising and leading staff
  • Knowledge of plant and equipment used in formwork, concreting, road construction, and pipe laying
  • Working knowledge of employee obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with computer literacy and numeracy
