Maintenance Technician

We're seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Maintenance Technicians within the Origin Eraring Maintenance Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, reliable and cost-effective maintenance performance and plant reliability. They will report to the Maintenance Team leader and take a proactive approach to ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in and support the safe execution of maintenance activities, adopting a safety-first mindset.
- Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, maintaining a high standard of work quality that supports the reliability and availability of the plant.
- Utilize the site's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to capture relevant information associated with tasks and work, adhering to the Origin Work Management procedures.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across the operation through open and clear communication.
- Pursue continuous improvement activities that enhance safety, maintenance, and plant performance.
What We're Looking For
We require candidates with relevant trade qualifications and post-trade experience. A commitment to safety and a growth mindset are essential. Alignment with our company values and a willingness to contribute to a positive culture and work environment are also highly regarded.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience working with plant equipment, materials, and maintenance methods used in power stations or similar heavy industry environments. Prior experience utilizing CMMS systems, such as SAP, is also desirable. Additionally, the ability to plan and prioritize daily activities is crucial for success in this role.
