Scrub Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse to join our team at Pulse Staffing. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist anaesthetists and surgeons during operations
• Prepare and maintain operating theatre equipment and instruments
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any concerns to the anaesthetist or surgeon
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Previous experience as a Scrub/Scout Nurse in an operating theatre
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
