About the Role

As a Pen Rider with Bindaree Food Group, you will play a vital role in the daily movement, treatment, and care of cattle. This position requires a high level of animal handling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Handling: Manage and handle animals humanely, using appropriate cattle handling techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of both the animals and staff.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to animal welfare, quality, and safety standards, as well as operating procedures and work instructions to maintain a high level of quality and safety in the workplace.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately count and record individual animal identification and lot numbers as required, along with all daily movements to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Task Management: Ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently, including riding pens consistently and thoroughly each day to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Treatment Administration: Apply required treatments to cattle and maintain accurate records to ensure the health and well-being of the animals.
