Clearance Specialist

This role involves working as a Clearance Support Agent, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring successful shipment clearance.

The job consists of approximately 80% document handling and 20% manual handling. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with colleagues, foster a motivating and uplifting work environment, and demonstrate strong decision-making abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers regarding clearance requirements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work with customers to gather necessary shipment information and documents when existing data is insufficient.
  • Ensure shipment records meet regulatory standards by validating and correcting data elements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate shipment inspections as needed.
  • Maintain timely contact with customers through various communication channels, assisting with both pre- and post-clearance issues.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and proficiency in reporting and Microsoft Office.

In addition, the ideal candidate will maintain high standards in all tasks, exhibit positive energy, and contribute to an inclusive culture with employee-led diversity groups.
