Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled culinary professional to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items according to established recipes.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other cooks to prepare meals during busy dining hours.
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Rotate stock items according to established procedures to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Restock kitchen supplies for subsequent shifts to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment at all times to prevent contamination and promote employee health and safety.
- Previous experience as a Cook in the restaurant industry is preferred, but not required.
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes and cooking techniques.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- ServeSafe Certification is a plus, but not necessary.
- Evenings and weekends are required, with flexible scheduling to accommodate changing business needs.
