About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Justice Clinician to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver evidence-based clinical assessments and interventions to children and young people in the youth justice system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer clinical assessments and develop treatment plans for children and young people;
  • Deliver targeted interventions on an individual or group basis to support rehabilitation and reintegration with caregivers, education, and other related support systems in the community;
  • Provide specialist clinical guidance and advice to case managers, behaviour support specialists, youth justice workers, and other staff;
  • Contribute to research and analysis in a specialist clinical portfolio area to inform recommendations to senior staff and improve overall practice and responsiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse, or Occupational Therapist; and
  • A minimum of two years' experience working directly with children and young people in a youth justice setting.
