Arts Educator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Arts Educator to join our team at Catholic Education Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn. As an Arts Educator, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression in our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum programs that align with the Australian Curriculum and meet the needs of our students.
• Use a variety of teaching and learning techniques to engage students and promote excellence in the arts.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide arts programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
• Working with Children's Check (WWCC) registration.
• NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.

Selection Criteria

1. A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the ability to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of our students.
2. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage positively with colleagues, students, and parents.
3. The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community and to contribute to the development of school-wide arts programs.
