Public Relations Manager Job Summary

This is a senior-level role that requires a seasoned public relations professional to lead our PR efforts in the Australia and New Zealand region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies to promote our brand, manage media relationships, and handle crisis communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Manage media relations, including pitching stories, securing interviews, and maintaining relationships with key journalists and influencers
  • Handle crisis communications, including preparing responses to media inquiries, drafting statements, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Work closely with our marketing team to ensure alignment on PR objectives and messaging
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in a corporate or agency environment
  • Proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage and managing crisis communications
  • Exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
