We are seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join our team in the Kelso area.

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of older people.

As a Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks in clients' homes, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Work independently in the community, with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge.

What We Need From You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable working on your own in the community.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic, patient, and caring.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Australian driver's license.
  • A reliable motor vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
  • Background checks, including a police check.
