Job Title: Health and Physical Education Teacher

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Physical Education teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and report on student progress, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay current with best practices in education.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Education or related qualification.
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
  • Proven experience in teaching Health and Physical Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
