We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midwife to join our team in the Maternity & Obstetrics department at the Northern TAS hospital.
Job DescriptionAs a Midwife Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality midwifery care to patients, supporting junior workforce with minimum 8 years' experience. You will work across all areas of midwifery, especially birth suite, and have the ability to work night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional midwifery care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Support and guide junior staff members with extensive experience in midwifery practices.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, as required by the service.
- Minimum of two consecutive 12-week contracts at the Northern TAS hospital within the last two years.
- Possibility of contract extension based on individual performance.
- Current medical registration with AHPRA and the right to work in Australia.
