Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise NPI construction activities, ensuring all work is conducted to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and construction regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors responsible for different components of the NPI scope, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee the construction of critical infrastructure, including workshops, administration buildings, underground services, communications towers, and water supply systems.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status and performance to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a major mining project, particularly in the management of NPI works.
  • Strong background in roadworks, civil construction, and underground services (power, water, comms, wastewater).
  • Previous experience working in an EPCM environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
