The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Consultant to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a Senior/Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions to our clients across all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our clients to design, develop, and deploy Pega business process management (BPM) software
  • Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements
  • Collaborate with a high-performing Pega delivery team to ensure the solution meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Develop business rules, PEGA BPM process models, Pega BPM services, and Pega UI components
  • Manage key design areas of a Pega implementation, leveraging deep understanding of Pega Platform and application debugging tools
  • Provide technical leadership to guide the development team in delivering highly functioning and usable Pega applications
  • Lead the implementation of complex Pega design and development projects, applying Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and best practices
  • Implement PRPC components, such as decision tables, decision maps, declarative expressions, constraints, and indexes
  • Work on activities and flows to meet client requirements, using RDB methods to create database connections and creating web services using Connect-SOAP
  • Manage accessibility to users by creating portals, access roles, and access groups for analysts, data managers, and chair departments
  • Identify and document test conditions/scenarios from business requirements and functional design for rating management

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in software development, particularly in Pega. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of software development experience in Pega, delivering solutions
  • Deep knowledge of Pega application design concepts, case design principles, and development best practices
  • Pega certification (CLSA/CSSA/CSA) is a must
  • Hands-on experience in design using PRPC and any frameworks
  • Strong design and implementation skills in an Agile development environment
  • Knowledge of web services architecture (XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, etc.) and MQ series
  • Ability to solve common application requirements through deep understanding of Pega features and patterns
  • Track record of successful Pega application implementations from scratch
