Environmental Assurance Manager

Leading a high-performing team of professionals in environment assurance, you will be responsible for implementing and managing effective assurance programs. Collaborating closely with construction and engineering teams, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to drive improvement activities and initiatives.
We are seeking an experienced Environment Lead with a strong track record in environmental science and engineering, who can develop and implement robust assurance metrics for internal dialogue. As part of our dynamic and supportive work environment, you will have the opportunity to adapt to changing circumstances and demands, while leading, managing, and influencing team members and external contractors.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Tertiary degree qualifications in Environmental Science or Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in various capacities, including construction experience and site work complexities
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement regular reporting of assurance metrics for internal dialogue
- Collaborate with technical specialists to develop and implement environmental dashboards and metrics
- Maintain external audit programs and link back to audit findings
