About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated undergraduate Civil Engineering student to join our team on a two-year, part-time contract.

This role offers an exciting launchpad into your engineering career, providing hands-on experience, opportunities to apply your university learning in the real world, and support towards your tuition fees.

You will collaborate with experienced professionals, develop technical skills, and gain valuable exposure to the workings of local government.

To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Be enrolled in and currently studying a Bachelor degree qualification in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree qualification;
  • Have successfully completed a minimum two (2) years, or equivalent, in the above mentioned degree and satisfactory academic achievement in your current undergraduate studies;
  • Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Show the ability to multi-task and prioritise work within an environment of competing demands;
  • Hold a strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); and
  • Hold a current Class C unrestricted drivers licence.
