Job Title: Director, ANU Mc Cusker Institute

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Director of the ANU Mc Cusker Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the institute's vision, driving opportunities for the ANU academic program, and leading a program team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the institute, aligning with the ANU's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a program team and develop close working relations with the Mc Cusker Centre for Citizenship at the University of Western Australia.
  • Engage with and provide high-level advice to the University Executive, stakeholders within Schools and Colleges, industry, commercial, and government partners.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality education programs that combine academic and experiential learning.
  • Work with project teams across the ANU to ensure performance of funded programs meets strategic objectives.

  • Relevant for-purpose sector expertise and relationships.
  • Experience in delivering leadership of high-quality education programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
