Job Title: VP - Corporate Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP - Corporate Finance to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Corporate Finance business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Regional Head of Corporate Finance – Asia Pacific in building out our Corporate Finance business in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate new business opportunities and execute M&A and Equity Private Placement transactions in the Energy Transition sector, covering Asia Pacific with a focus on Australia.
  • Hold a key leadership role in the transaction execution process, providing senior support and guidance to junior team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, leveraging market intelligence to provide valuable insights and feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and expansion, and provide guidance and development opportunities to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and maintain a strong understanding of the needs of our corporate clients and industry groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in M&A or Investment Banking, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of M&A transactions, financial modeling, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
  • Commercial acumen, strong corporate knowledge, and persistence in addressing clients' needs.
