Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulator Pilot Instructor to join our team. As a Simulator Pilot Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students, conducting mission briefs and debriefs, and engaging with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students
  • Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate
  • Engage with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment. You will also need to have a minimum 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew and tactical transport aircraft (C-27J, C-130J or similar).

Security Requirements:

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
