The Role

We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Technological & Applied Studies (TAS) Food Technology Teacher to join our Department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Food Technology and have the ability and willingness to also teach Stage 4 Mandatory Technology.

This role provides a unique opportunity for a versatile educator who is excited about working with students across diverse areas of Food Technology, contributing to their development in both a theoretical and practical way.

Your Skills and Attributes
  • Teaching across the Secondary TAS curriculum with a focus on Food Technology.
  • Excellent understanding of the NESA syllabus and current NESA accreditation.
  • Positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes.
  • Confidence in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
  • Strong understanding of the application of technology to enhance learning.
  • Reflective professional engaged in ongoing development and research in relation to your practice.
  • Commitment to supporting student wellbeing.

We offer salaries above the award, ranging from $95,000 - $135,000 per annum (plus superannuation). Your salary will be based on your NESA accreditation level.
