Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team responsible for ensuring the safe operation of electrical systems in high-risk areas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of safety regulations, specialized equipment, and industry best practices.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical breakdowns, conducting periodic and preventative maintenance activities, evaluating equipment performance, and communicating with suppliers and contractors for the purchase of parts, services, and equipment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for debugging PLC logic and troubleshooting electrical/electronic controls and circuits, as well as installing, repairing, and testing electrical and electronic systems.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment, including hazardous areas
  • A-grade Electrical licence with Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas
  • Confined space and working at heights and EWP licences
  • MEX software and Microsoft Excel experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
