Senior Physiotherapist Job Description

The Senior Physiotherapist plays a vital role in delivering advanced musculoskeletal services and supporting a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

  • Deliver high-level musculoskeletal physiotherapy services for complex outpatient presentations, ensuring exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

This position requires the ability to lead and contribute to clinical service development, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.

  • Lead clinical service development, creating and implementing protocols that drive positive patient outcomes and advance clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care, resulting in enhanced patient experiences.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist who can provide clinical supervision and mentoring to less experienced physiotherapists and pre-entry students, promoting career growth and professional development within the organisation.

  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship, empowering junior clinicians and students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal conditions, strong communication skills, and experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior clinicians and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-level musculoskeletal physiotherapy services for complex outpatient presentations.
  • Lead and contribute to clinical service development, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to less experienced physiotherapists and pre-entry students.
