Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain multiple machines to produce high-quality products, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards and ensuring a safe working space.
- Execute profile changeovers efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet CSR's high standards.
- Fault find and troubleshoot issues with machines and equipment.
- Record data on quality sheets to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct oil level checks and monitor raw material feed to ensure optimal production.
- Identify and reject defective products to maintain product quality.
- Oversee the extrusion process to meet CSR's quality standards.
- Provide training to new operators to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Reset and start tile machines as needed.
- Refill sand bins as required, with relevant certifications.
- Assist in other roles as needed to support the team.
- Ensure cleanliness of recycle conveyors to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform asset care in accordance with CSR's PM Way standards.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry.
- Strong commitment to safety awareness and a willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills.
- Commitment to ongoing training and self-development to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability to work effectively with the team.
- Adaptable and flexible to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
