Medical Expertise Sought

The Repatriation Medical Authority (RMA) plays a pivotal role in evaluating Statements of Principles for military service-related diseases, injuries, or deaths.
This esteemed body consists of a Chairperson and four other members, all renowned medical or scientific experts who contribute on a part-time basis. They are appointed by the Minister for Veterans' Affairs.
To excel in this position, you will need to be a registered medical practitioner or scientist with an exceptional academic record and substantial clinical experience.
We particularly seek individuals with expertise in psychiatry, musculoskeletal medicine, and/or epidemiology.
You must also possess excellent representational and stakeholder management capabilities, as well as intellectual rigor and high ethical standards.
A deep understanding of the Australian Repatriation system and experience working with executive government and institutions are highly regarded.
