We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our food operations in a Residential Care setting. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality culinary experiences to our residents while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and compliance.

Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have:
- Lead all aspects of food operations, including food safety, preparation, and service, ordering, cost, and quality control.
- Supervise a team of kitchen staff and provide training and development opportunities.
- Role model a customer service mindset and create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Partner with residents and families to understand food choices, preferences, and requirements.
- Plan, prepare, and supervise special meals and cater to diverse dietary needs.
- Take responsibility for Food Safety Plan (HACCP) and ensure regulatory requirements are consistently met.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Certification.
- Current knowledge of Food Handling Legislation, including HACCP requirements.
- Australian Working Rights.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in menu planning and catering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $65,000-$90,000, depending on experience.
