Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill a critical role in our team. As a core member of the Storage Layer Services team, you will be instrumental in re-architecting the MongoDB Cloud Storage Layer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and operate secure cloud-native storage solutions.
  • Implement production-ready applications that meet the highest standards of quality and scalability.
  • Diagnose test failures and performance regressions, using your expertise in distributed systems and software engineering.
  • Lead development and project management for large cross-team initiatives, driving collaboration and results-driven outcomes.
  • Contribute to operational excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programming, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed and/or highly concurrent software systems.
  • Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling.
  • Experience in distributed systems, building and operating multi-tenant cloud services, and database internals.
