The role of a kitchenhand is pivotal in ensuring an efficient and seamless dining experience for guests. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen area.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Upkeep consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen area
  • Perform temperature and quality checks to effectively manage cross-contamination, thus ensuring workplace health and safety compliance and meeting food safety standards
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen team members to establish and sustain an organized workspace
  • Undertake cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal, and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals
  • Carry out food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment while showcasing excellent presentation skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a kitchenhand or similar role
  • Possession of a Food Safety Certificate
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
