Skilled Carpentry Teacher Wanted

We seek a highly skilled and passionate carpentry instructor to join our team at the Nowra Campus on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality carpentry instruction, fostering technical skills and industry standards in our students.

This role is also part of a statewide talent pool to fill temporary and permanent positions within 18 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging carpentry programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in carpentry and training practices.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Hold a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of five years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
  • Be prepared to continue developing your Vocational Education and Training knowledge and skills as well as industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
