Job Description:

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of electrical engineering scope of work, providing leadership and creating a highly committed and aligned team environment focused on delivering positive project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include developing discipline design and associated engineering deliverables, providing input into capital estimates and project schedules, and providing key discipline input to multi-discipline project teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A degree in engineering with demonstrated experience commensurate with CPEng status.
  2. Design and engineering experience in the mining and metals, infrastructure or energy sectors (or similar heavy industries).
  3. Experience in the investigation, planning, and supervision of construction works and/or maintenance activities in operational facilities.
  4. Competence in performing electrical studies, including load flow, arc fault, protection grading, and power system modeling packages.
  5. Current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to electrical engineering.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level.
