About the Role

Manningham City Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maternal and Child Health Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Maternal and Child Health service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide universal and family-focused Maternal and Child Health services to families with children from birth to 6 years old.
  • Conduct home visits and centre-based sessions to promote healthy development and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with families, other health professionals, and community agencies to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each family.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Postgraduate Diploma or Master's degree in Child and Family Health Nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of family partnerships, child development, and behaviour.
  • Valid driver's licence in Victoria.
