Our Anaesthesia Team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist to join our dynamic team at Princess Alexandra Hospital.

The Role

We are looking for a Specialist who will provide expert anaesthesia services, including pre-admission clinic, operating theatres, acute pain service, endoscopy suite, cardiac catheter laboratories, radiology department, and day surgery procedure unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of clinical anaesthesia and peri-operative patient care
  • Ensure patient safety by understanding and managing clinical risk
  • Contribute to processes to improve the continuity of clinical care, coordination of services, clinical handover, and discharge planning during and after hospitalisation

Requirements

  • Advanced qualification in anaesthesia or a related field
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
