We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our data and analytics function, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data warehouse, data pipeline, and data products.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and delivery of our data and analytics roadmap
- Review and make recommendations on the optimization of our data architecture and processing systems
- Design, build, and maintain ETL processes to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources
- Automate data workflows such as data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing
- Prepare raw data in data warehouses into a consumable dataset for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Build, maintain, and deploy data products for analytics and functional teams on cloud platforms
- Partner with the business analyst and functional leaders to develop and deploy machine learning models in production
- Assist the marketing and digital teams in the configuration and maintenance of Google Analytics 4 and other web analytics tools
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control procedures
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational database management and design
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, such as Python
- Strong proficiency in cloud-based data warehousing, data pipelines, and workflow management tools
- Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions, such as AWS and Azure
- Strong proficiency in data governance practices, with a focus on data quality and data security
- Experience developing data models for Power BI
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 configuration
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong project management and organizational skills
