Join Our Team as a Drafting and Design Professional

At GHD, we're passionate about empowering our people to make a positive impact. We're seeking talented individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Drafters/Designers in our Northern Australia business.

About the Opportunity

We have multiple roles available for Trainees, Cadets, and Graduates who are eager to start their drafting/design career. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in drafting and design, working on a variety of projects across different industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and other design/drafting software.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on technical tasks and take guidance in support of your role.
  • Develop your knowledge of GHD's Corporate Drafting Manual and other relevant systems, tools, and processes.
  • Attend TAFE or University and maintain the requirements of a Traineeship or Cadetship.
What We're Looking For
  • QCE (or equivalent) completion with strong academic results in Mathematics and English.
  • Experience in AutoCAD is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong desire to build a rewarding career as a professional drafter/designer.
  • Well-developed communication skills and a proven attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills coupled with a positive attitude and a desire to learn.
  • A genuine interest in technical drawing and engineering.
