About This Job

Collinsville State High School seeks an experienced educator to lead its Special Education Services.

The successful applicant will be based at Collinsville and service the schools in the region, promoting inclusivity and equity for students with disabilities.

This is a challenging opportunity for an innovative leader to develop high-quality teaching and adjustments in line with legislation and policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote an inclusive culture and practices within the school community.
  • Develop and support high-quality teaching and adjustments for students with disability.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated teaching competence and capacity to provide curriculum leadership in special education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop productive relationships.
  • Capacity to use analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes.
  • Effective management of human, financial, and physical resources.
  • Demonstrated support for an organisational culture based on ethical professional and personal behaviours.
