Personal Support Worker

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with our core values.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Supporting residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
