We are seeking final year events students to participate in an intensive internship program. The successful candidate will have some experience with paid ads on social media and search, and be interested in developing those essential skills during this focused internship with Mamamia.

Mamamia is Australia's largest independent women's media company, with a decade-long history of creating engaging content that resonates with women. Our events division spans virtual and IRL events, providing a unique opportunity to work on a range of event types.

The **Events Marketing (Paid Search and Social) Internship** will include activities such as:

  • Shadowing our events team as they plan, produce, and promote virtual and in-person events
  • Researching paid search and social marketing options and creating a proposal for feedback from senior team leaders
  • Analyzing data to optimize conversions on event sales pages
  • Creating advertising assets using Canva and similar programs
  • Developing a paid marketing plan (search and social) for each event
  • Managing and optimizing paid social ads in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Reporting on key performance data including ticket sales and page views
