We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our electrical contracting company as full-time apprentices.

About the Role:
  • Carry out preparation work and installation of cable pathways and supports
  • Install electrical and communications cabling as required, both internal and external
  • Determine and terminate electrical and communications cabling (e.g. colour coding)
  • Support in testing of installed cabling systems and associated equipment
  • Interpret and maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and other personnel at all times
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Standards and site requirements
  • Assistance with various project and service groups as needed, including purchasing and equipment checks
  • Participate in on and off-the-job training to enhance your skills and responsibilities
  • Comply with company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • Pursuit of a 4-year apprenticeship in Certificate III Electrotechnology
  • Holding a valid Driver's Licence with reliable transportation
  • Construction General Induction (White Card)
  • Completion of Year 10 or higher education
  • Motivated, displays initiative and willingness to learn
  • Reliable, punctual and enthusiastic attendance
  • Diligence to safe work practices
  • Follow directions and perform tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Contributes to achieving desired outcomes and a positive work environment
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
