As a Senior Engineer in Transmission Lines, you will provide critical expertise to the Asset Management team, focusing on the integrity and performance of transmission networks.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialized knowledge in Transmission Lines and Structures.
- Contribute significantly to the operational efficiency of the network.
- Engage in collaborative efforts to enhance asset management strategies and technical specifications.
- Conduct assessments and audits of existing transmission line assets to ensure reliability.
- Lead initiatives for project development, including concept creation and business case preparation.
- Support the implementation of asset replacement initiatives and long-term reliability plans.
- Analyze and report on transmission line equipment failures to inform decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering.
- Understanding of leading asset management practices and relevant standards.
- Experience in developing strategic asset management plans, preferably in regulated environments.
- In-depth knowledge of transmission systems and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in software tools for transmission line analysis and design.
- Strong analytical skills to leverage data for optimizing asset performance.
