About the Role

The role of Deputy Principal is a leadership position that plays a crucial part in shaping the educational vision and outcomes for students.

  • Deputizing for the Principal when required.

  • Embedding socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Setting high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participating in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Forming partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry, and business.
  • Being futures-oriented and strategic.
  • Understanding legislation and policies impacting schooling.
  • Managing resources to achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities
