Server Position

Job Overview

This server position involves delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work well under pressure, and provide superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm hospitality to guests by greeting them promptly and attending to their needs throughout the meal.
  • Set tables according to event type and service standards to create an inviting atmosphere.
  • Take orders accurately and answer questions or offer menu suggestions to enhance the guest's dining experience.
  • Process transactions efficiently in the point-of-sale system at time of order.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and/or beverage.
  • Present accurate checks to guests and process payment professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift.
  • Clean and set up tables/rooms as needed.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties before clocking out.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; related experience and/or training are preferred.
  • The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos is essential.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
