Key Projects Principal Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Key Projects Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.

This role will focus on key projects across transport and infrastructure markets in Queensland, including:

  • Tunnelling and foundations projects
  • Retaining structures and slopes assessments
  • Civil infrastructure projects

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients as part of the geotechnical team
  • Assisting in scoping geotechnical aspects of projects
  • Conducting site inspections and reporting
  • Field monitoring and data assessment
  • Advising internal professionals in roads, tunnels, aviation, water, and structural engineering
  • Contributing to geotechnical projects
  • Applying understanding of construction methods
  • Preparing reports and specifications

About You

We are looking for a degree-qualified Civil or Geotechnical Engineer with significant experience delivering geotechnical projects. Your experience should include:

  • Ground characterisation
  • Seismic assessments and design
  • Project management
  • Appreciation of engineering risk
  • Understanding of commercial risk
  • Innovation and creative thinking
