Associate Financial Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Financial Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior advisers and contributing to the delivery of exceptional quality financial planning solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a dedicated and professional Associate Financial Adviser, you will be responsible for managing initial client contact and attending client meetings with Principal Advisers, generating precise file notes and action items post-client meetings, assisting in strategy development, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Contact and Meeting Management: Manage initial client contact and attend client meetings with Principal Advisers to understand client needs and preferences.
  • File Note and Action Item Generation: Generate precise file notes and action items post-client meetings to ensure accurate recording of discussions and agreed actions.
  • Strategy Development and Liaison: Assist in strategy development and liaison with external paraplanners to prepare quality financial advice documents that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for research, modelling, and calculations supporting advice preparation.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: RG146 qualification (or working toward it).
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrable experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Professional Year Program: Completion of the Professional Year (PY) program will be highly regarded but is not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills, proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and desire to grow professionally.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
